Despite starting Euro 2024 on the bench, Dani Olmo has made a significant impact for Spain with 3 goals and 2 assists (at the time of writing). A £50 million release clause in his RB Leipzig contract has been attracting the attention of some of Europe's biggest clubs and Olmo is hotly tipped for a move this summer. Today we're going to breakdown Olmo's Topps and Panini cards to help you start your collection.

Olmo's first premium cards appeared in Topps sets during the 2019-20 season. He started the season at Dinamo Zagreb before moving to RB Leipzig in January and this is reflected in his cards. His Topps Crystal card is for Dinamo Zagreb, while his Topps Now card is for RB Leipzig. Although his first year in Topps premium products neither of these cards have rookie logos.

In 2020 Dani Olmo made his first appearance in Panini's premium sets and they decided to add a Rookie (RC) logo to his cards. This makes it a bit confusing because none of his Topps cards from 2020-21 have a rookie logo. Olmo appears for Spain in the Panini sets and RB Leipzig in the Topps sets. This is the first year to include his autograph, and he has autos in both Panini and Topps sets.

Topps Museum and Tier One are two of the company's most premium sets, and Olmo has had autographs, patches, and patch autographs in these sets the last two seasons. Worthy of special note is the RB Leipzig Chrome set, which retailed at around £1500 and contains on-card autographs for Olmo. For collectors looking for his highest quality cards these sets are your best bet. Olmo does appear in 2021-22 and 2022-23 Panini Immaculate but only as a base card. He has relic cards in 2021-22 Panini Obsidian and 2022 National Treasures Road to Qatar, but his patches from these sets are 'officially licensed' and not player or match worn.
